Our Beliefs

What We Believe:

No matter where you are on your spiritual journey . . . from skeptic to grounded Christian believer, we pray you’ll find a home at The Warehouse Community Church.

The Warehouse offers non-believers the space to explore on their own terms, while encouraging Christians to dive deeper into their faith. We’re committed to providing a non-threatening environment where people can bring “non-believing” friends and family members to hear God’s offer of faith, hope, grace, forgiveness and freedom, presented to show relevance to their lives today. All questions are valued and all backgrounds are welcomed.

We are creating a variety of ministries that will meet each person at their point of need, as well as connecting people in order to form genuine, lasting relationships.

Our Vision:

That people would come to a relationship with Jesus Christ and His family, developing them to Christ-like maturity and equipping them for their purpose in the church and mission in the world, in order to magnify God’s name.

The Warehouse Community Church believes God called His people to reach the lost with the Truth of His Word. The church understands the overwhelming majority of North America has never heard or even seen God’s Word, even though the populace is legitimately seeking after Him. As God’s church, we are committed to providing a safe place to discover God’s Truth and a place where His people can grow spiritually, mentally and physically.

Relationship: We incorporate people into our network of family and friends.

Now after some days, when He returned to Capernaum, the news spread that He was at home. So many gathered that there was no longer any room, not even by the door, and He preached the word to them.” Mark 2:1-2 (NET)

That night Matthew invited Jesus and his disciples to be his dinner guests, along with his fellow tax collectors and many other notorious sinners.Matthew 9:10 (NET)

When I am with those who are oppressed, I share their oppression so that I might bring them to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone so that I might bring them to Christ. 23 I do all this to spread the Good News, and in doing so I enjoy its blessings. 1 Corinthians 9:22 (NLT)

Maturity: We educate God’s people through discipleship.

“…Go and make disciples of all the nations, …Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.” Matthew 28:19-20 (NLT)

Discipleship is the processes of helping people become more like Christ in their thoughts, feelings and actions.

Purpose: We demonstrate God’s love through service to others.

“When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, ‘Son, your sins are forgiven.’ Now some of the experts in the law were sitting there, turning these things over in their minds. ‘Why does this man speak this way? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?’ Immediately, when Jesus realized in His spirit that they were contemplating such thoughts, He said to them, ‘Why are you thinking such things in your hearts? Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven’ or to say ‘Stand up, take your stretcher and walk’? But, so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.’ He said to the paralytic, ‘I tell you, stand up, take your stretcher, and go home.”Mark 2:5-11 (NET)

Magnify: We celebrate God’s purpose through worship.

“They were all amazed and glorified God, saying, ‘We have never seen anything like this!’”Mark 2:12b (NET)

What is worship? Worship is to feel in your heart and express in some appropriate manner, a humbling but delightful sense of admiring awe and astonished wonder; an overpowering love in the presence of that most ancient Mystery, that Majesty, which philosophers call the First Cause, but which we call Our Father.

Are you excited about what God has done? Stand with others in Worship, showing the world what you believe and what you know . . . In Christ, I am Healed . . . I am New . . . and I am Free!
